Job Description : The room attendant and housekeeping duties include, but are not limited to: ensuring guest satisfaction by cleaning rooms daily according to operational policies and standards; cleaning bathrooms including shower curtain, walls, mirrors, tubs, toilet and floor; dusting room items; vacuuming floor; cleaning inside drawers, under the bed, and more. Participant will also be responsible for emptying trash, restocking room amenities, making beds, and ensuring the room is presentable for guests. Additional duties may be assigned by the supervisor as necessary. Duties include standing for long periods and some lifting. Cleaning requires the use of chemicals. The room attendant position ensures guest satisfaction by cleaning and stripping rooms, bathrooms, and common areas daily. Duties include, but are not limited to: dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and removing garbage. Room attendant position requires use of cleaning chemicals. General cleaning and additional duties may be assigned by supervisor as necessary.

$350 per person, per month

Housing is provided by the employer, which is $350 per month. This cost covers WiFi, Television, and all utilities. You will also need a $350 dollar deposit to move in ($100 of which is refundable, once inspection takes place and the living quarters are deemed satisfactory). The employer has proactively secured this housing because it is the only reasonably priced accommodation in the area. Due to these concerns, the employer has packaged together the job offer and housing option. The participant must live in the employee housing. Any participant that moves out of the employer-provided housing will lose his/her job and the housing deposit will be forfeited. The housing is a series of manufactured homes built specifically for J-1 participants and other seasonal workers. Each unit has five bedrooms and two bathrooms. There will be two people per bedroom. The trailers will be separated by gender. The trailer homes each have a refrigerator, stove, oven, washer and dryer. Water, trash and sewage will be included in rent. Participants can bike to work, or carpool with other employees for $2 roundtrip or $1 for one-way.
