Job Description

Breakfast Bar Attendant: Breakfast Attendant duties include preparing hot and cold breakfast foods and drinks, maintaining buffet area stocked for the four hours of breakfast, preparing food for the next day, ensuring the general area is clean, and communicating with guests. General cleaning and other duties may be assigned by supervisor as necessary. This job requires lifting, standing, walking, and bending.

Housekeeping: Position requires cleaning guest rooms and public areas of the hotel. Duties include but are not limited to: cleaning guest bathrooms, making beds, removing guest linens, vacuuming, cleaning floors, showers, sinks, and toilets. Taking out trash, some cleaning of common areas and laundry duties will be required as well. Housekeeping requires participants to use cleaning chemicals. General cleaning and other duties may be assigned by the employer as necessary. Laundry duties include, but are not limited to: laundering and folding hotel linens. Job requires following specific instructions on service, as well as a lot of physical activity including standing for long periods of time, heavy lifting, bending, kneeling and walking up and down stairs.

Breakfast Bar Attendant $13.00 per hour; there is a potential for an increase of up to $14 based on performance

Ranges from $175 to $350 per person per month depending on how many live in the unit

**Participant will share a fully renovated 2 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom mobile home. Bedroom will be shared with another participant. Home includes a full kitchen, a living room and dining table. Internet not available in mobile home but is at the worksite and is available for use at any time. Laundry facilities can be used at the hotel. Host employer will collect $500 from each participant upon arrival and this will go toward rent. Participant will split the $700 per month rent with the other participants in the housing.
