Job Description

Back of House :
As a Restaurant Worker, you will be asked to work various positions depending on the means of the restaurant. Those positions include Line or Prep Cook and Dishwasher. Your Host Company will determine the position depending on where they feel you will best fit. Line Cook will be responsible for learning and cooking menu items to order, ensuring the kitchen is clean and stocked throughout the shift, and cleaning at the end of your shift. Prep Cook is responsible for prepping all ingredients for menu items and assisting the kitchen as needed. The dishwasher’s responsibility is to ensure all dishes, silverware, and glasses are cleaned properly and placed in the designated area of the restaurant.

Line-Cook Job Description
1. Maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen
2. Help put up all food orders (Sysco and produce)
3. Help wash dishes and put them up in appropriate areas designated in the kitchen
4. Helps with all opening and or closing duties
5. Works well as a team with others
6. Be able to stand for long hours
7. Able to lift 50 pounds or more on occasions
8. Must be able to multi-task
9. Understanding of cooking skills, knife handling, and safety
10. Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion
11. Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
12. Set up stocking stations with all necessary supplies
13. Ability to work with speed and efficiency
14. Fortitude to work in a fast-paced environment

Busser :
As a busser, your responsibilities are to remove used plates, glasses, cutlery, and napkins from tables after diners are done eating. Wiping up water spills, food stains, and dirt from tables, replacing cutlery and glassware, and handling cleaning of the dining area at the close of day. Cleaning of restrooms during business hours, getting ice and refilling all ice bins throughout your shift, and closes the restaurant by cleaning chairs and tables, sweeping and vacuuming floors, and removing trash from the facility.

Busser **Tipped Position**Social Required** $3.50/hr + tips

Hours

32-40 hours per week

Housing

$125 per week ($115-$150 per week, maybe more/less) (Must Arrange own)
Deposit amount $300 (Depends)

On foot or bike, public transportation is available to you as well. Depending on the option
depends on how long it will take.
