Server Assistant : server takes orders, answers questions about the menu and food, sells the restaurant’s food and drinks, takes payment, communicates orders with the kitchen staff, seats customers, and helps with customer service and cleaning. Also known as a waiter or waitress.

Steward : responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitization of dishes, tableware, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils through manual and machine cleaning methods. Additionally, dishwashers are expected to keep the dishwarshing area clean and safe.

Bell : Bell Attendants are primarily responsible for any combination of the following duties; welcome guests upon their arrival, escort guests to hotel or conference center rooms, transport guest luggage to and from guest rooms and/or designated bell area, assist with luggage storage and retrieval, open doors and assist

Groundskeeper :Clean interior and exterior areas of buildings on our campus on a daily basis, as well as performing additional seasonal cleaning tasks. Pick up and remove trash and debris from the property and dispose of it appropriately on a daily basis. Conduct regular maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, or other systems in the facility as required. Carry out regular maintenance on structures, including carpentry and masonry work to repair damaged floors and walls. Remove snow in winter conditions and keep outdoor areas safe during bad weather, including spreading deicer on walkways and steps. Perform light excavation, using shovels, picks and other tools to dig trenches and level ground. Maintain landscape and garden areas by planting grass, trimming trees and bushes, and fertilizing flowers and other plants. Contact the appropriate technicians and specialists for maintenance jobs that the groundskeeper cannot do alone.”

Pool Attendant :Pool attendants are responsible for maintaining a safe and clean pool area at hotels, resorts, and private functions. They welcome guests, attend to their needs, and assist swimmers in danger.

Host : Welcome guests to the venue Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists Manage reservations Escort customers to assigned dining or bar areas Provide menus and announce Waiter/Waitress’s name Greet customers upon their departure Coordinate with wait staff about available seating options Maintain a clean reception area Cater to guests who require extra attention (e.g. children, elderly) Answer incoming calls and address customers’ queries Assist wait staff as needed

Houseperson :The Houseperson is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, hallways, furnishings, flooring and work areas. Cleaning rooms includes duties such as changing bed linens and emptying
trash as well as vacuuming carpets and dusting furniture. The Houseperson replaces guest supplies, i.e. soap, shampoo, bathroom tissue, etc. and maintains all staff closets. Duties also include cleaning the common areas, stairwells, elevators and landings. Secondary duties may include shoveling snow from walkways, assisting with guest transportation, assisting with guest luggage. All team members must ensure the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms. The Houseperson is responsible for executing any reasonable task requested by his/her manager or supervisor

Prep cook : Prep cooks work for food establishments under the supervision of the head chef. Their duties revolve around assisting the head chef in preparing food by chopping and washing vegetables and meats and arranging salads, breads, sauces and dressings.

Expo : Expos are essential to a quick and smooth meal service. They ensure a party’s orders are coursed correctly, and that every item is plated correctly and matches the guests specifications on the ticket. They also communicate questions and updates between service staff, kitchen staff, and restaurant managers
