Job Description

Bagger/Cashier/Stocking :Participants should be willing to work either as a cashier/bagger or as a stocker. Position assignment to be determined by employer based on performance, attitude, personality, and English ability.

Cashier/bagger position involves a lot of customer interaction and will require strong customer service skills. Position will also require operating cash register, exchanging US currency, ringing up items, bagging items, and cleaning of the work space. General cleaning and other duties may be assigned by supervisor as necessary.

Stocking position requires maintaining inventory of the shelves in the store, answering customer questions, and providing assistance to other departments as necessary. General cleaning and other duties may be assigned by supervisor as necessary.

Bakery Assistant/Deli Attendant :Participant should be willing to work either in the deli or bakery. Position assignment to be determined by employer based on performance, attitude, personality, and English ability. Both positions require participants to provide strong customer service and be able to answer customer questions. Other responsibilities will include stocking shelves, building daily displays, baking bread, packaging food items, and maintaining a clean workspace. Deli attendant will not operate meat slicer. Bakery assistant will not operate or clean the vertical dough mixer. General cleaning and other duties may be assigned by supervisor as necessary.

32-40 hours per week

Housing

$75 per person, per week 
Deposit Amount : $300 per person

**Participants will live in shared, dormitory style housing. There are 5 bedrooms, with single beds or bunk beds. Each room will be shared by 3-4 participants. There are two large communal bathrooms shared by all participants. There is a community room with a TV, refrigerator, and laundry facilities. Participants will have access to a full kitchen where they can cook. Utility costs are included with the price of rent, but internet is an additional cost. Housing is located across the street from the store so participants will be able to walk to work.

Transportation to work

Transportation to work will be provided by the employer.
