Laundry : : Laundry Workers are employed by laundry cleaning services or organizations like hospitals and hotels. Usual duties listed on a Laundry Worker resume include operating washing machines, sorting laundry, removing stains, tagging items, selecting cleaning agents, and drying clothes.

Houseman : : A hotel houseman is the male equivalent of a female maid, both of whom are also known as butlers and housekeepers. The role typically involves a range of activities related to ensuring a hotel is kept clean, sanitized and well-stocked with amenities. In-house training is typically provided for such roles, though previous experience in a janitorial or cleaning role can be an asset when seeking this type of employment.

Barback: : A barback is a bar’s equivalent to a busser. Their role is to ensure that the bartender has everything they need during service to keep everything running smoothly: clean glasses, enough garnishes, liquor, beer and spirits, ice cubes, etc. … Most bartenders work as a barback before moving up the ladder

Room Service: : Room Service Servers work in hotels and deliver orders to customers. Duties these employees perform include maintaining supplies, taking orders, completing tasks assigned by the manager, being polite to guests, collecting dirty dishes, and restocking minibars.

Room Attendants : : Keep facilities and common areas clean and maintained. Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
Clean and stock restrooms. Clean up spills with appropriate equipment. Notify managers of necessary repairs.
Collect and dispose of trash. Assist guests when necessary. Keep linen room stocked. Properly clean upholstered furniture.

Pool Attendant : : Pool attendants are responsible for maintaining a safe and clean pool area at hotels, resorts, and private functions. They welcome guests, attend to their needs, and assist swimmers in danger.

Hostess : : Welcome guests to the venue Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists
Manage reservations Escort customers to assigned dining or bar areas Provide menus and announce Waiter/Waitress’s name
Greet customers upon their departure Coordinate with wait staff about available seating options
Maintain a clean reception area Cater to guests who require extra attention (e.g. children, elderly)
Answer incoming calls and address customers’ queries Assist wait staff as needed

Pool Grill Cook : : Ensure food is stored and cooked at correct temperature by regulating temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters. Season and cook food according to recipes or personal judgment and experience. … Portion, arrange, and garnish food, and serve food to waiters or patrons.
