Job Description

Restaurant Cook: :Restaurant Cook duties include, but are not limited to: preparing and cooking food items according to recipes, daily menus, and supervisor instructions; cleaning and inspecting kitchen equipment, kitchen appliances, and work areas in order to ensure cleanliness and functional operation and assist other employees; operating food station, including performing station checklist, temperature log; stocking foods and items necessary for future use; monitoring menus and spending in order to ensure that meals are prepared economically. Must maintain awareness of safety issues and report them immediately to manager.

Housing

$120 per person, per week.
** Deposit $150 cash

Participant will have a private bedroom, but will share common space with up to 3 others. The apartment is partially furnished and all utilities are included. Each apartment includes a dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, washer, and dryer. Each apartment either has one or two bathrooms shared. Participant will need to bring their own bed linens, towels and kitchen utensils. Internet is provided. WIFI is also available in the student union during business hours at no cost. Host employer will cover housing cost and payroll deduct until amount is paid off. Participant must pay the $150 cash deposit upon arrival or WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO MOVE IN. This housing is available May 28 – August 12. Employer will provide housing at a cost equal to or lower than Rocker Square housing rate after August 12.

Transportation to work

Students can walk or ride a bike.
