Job Description

Line Cook/Prep Cook/Back of House : Participants will rotate between Line Cook, Prep Cook, and Back of House positions.

Participants are responsible for food preparation, supporting the kitchen supervisor, and cleaning and bussing tables. Participants must adhere to all kitchen and food safety operational standards and follow recipes according to Cherry Republic standards. Additional duties may be assigned by the supervisor.

On occasion, participants may be asked to work a few shifts in the restaurant as a server. Responsibilities include taking orders from customers, delivering food, and operating the cash register and POS system.

$250 per person, per paycheck (twice per month); $500 per person, per month

**Employer will assign housing. Housing will be in one of the following locations. Housing A-Trumbull House: 4 participants will share a single-family home with other Spirit participants from a different employer in Glen Arbor. The house has 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 2 kitchens, 2 living rooms with a big screen TV, 1 dining room, a patio with a grill, and laundry. Each participant will have their own bed and will share a room with another participant. Housing B-Maple City House: Participants will share a 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom fully furnished house with a common area, full kitchen, and laundry facilities. Two participants will share each bedroom.

Transportation to work

Students can walk or ride a bike.
