Job Description

Busser: Bussers are responsible for providing a clean and pleasant dining experience by clearing, sanitizing, and resetting tables, and ensuring the dining room is well-stocked and tidy. Responsibilities for Busser are to: Clear tables of dishware and napkins after meals, and return them to the kitchen Prepare coffee, tea, and ice water for customers Keep floors and chairs near dining tables clean by sweeping and mopping Maintain appropriate stock levels of glassware, silverware, and dishware Clean, sanitize, and reset tables after meals Refill salt, pepper, and other condiments at tables Assist servers with food delivery Keep designated service stations clean and well-stocked

Dishwasher: : As Dishwasher, you are responsible for unloading the dishes and cutlery brought to them by bussers and loading them into dish trays. The trays are unloaded, then placed into the commercial washers and are cleaned once closed. The commercial dishwashing machines do not accommodate larger pots and pans, so you will be required to wash things by hand. Dishwashers are responsible for maintaining their workspace and keeping sanitary conditions at all times. This is a hard, physically demanding job. You will have constant exposure to cleaning chemical, hot water, steam from the dishwasher. Floors will be slick, so proper footwear (nonslip) is required. You will stand, bend, lift, and twist repeatedly for long durations. You will also be responsible for sweeping, cleaning, and trash removal. Must clean grease traps. Must be able to stand for 8 hours and lift 50lbs.

Host/Hostess: Welcome guests to the venue Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists Manage reservations Escort customers to assigned dining or bar areas Provide menus and announce Waiter/Waitress’s name Greet customers upon their departure Coordinate with wait staff about available seating options Maintain a clean reception area Cater to guests who require extra attention (e.g. children, elderly) Answer incoming calls and address customers’ queries Assist wait staff as needed

Ice Cream Scooper/Barista: Ice cream scoopers provide samples, serve ice cream, and prepare other food items for each customer. As an ice cream scooper, you must know all the flavors offered and be able to detail the ingredients to customers, scoop ice cream into cones and cups, and mention special deals or discounts

A Barista is a professional who makes and serves beverages such as coffee, tea and specialty beverages. They are responsible for taking customer orders and payments. They also clean and sanitize their work areas, seating areas

They could walk/ ride a bike each day to work. Touristic trolleys are running all seasons and that would be an option as well; the cost of a one-way ride is $1.50
