Job Description

Barista : Barista duties include, but are not limited to:
– Making and serving hot and cold beverages.
– Serving deli and merchandise items.
– Running a register and use of the point of sale system.
– Taking room service calls and deliveries.

Dining Room Attendant : The Dining Room Attendant is the primary role that executes the day-to-day operations of the Food and Beverage Outlet. This role ensures a consistent and excellent guest experience at all times in all Food and Beverage outlets. Participants could be placed in either of the two Food and Beverage outlets at the resort. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Drive high levels of guest satisfaction through the consistent execution of all brand standards and hands-on interaction with guests and associates.
• Lead special projects as developed and approved.
• Assure that opening and closing checklists are completed in a timely fashion.
• Promptly greet guests as they are seated and bring bread, butter, and water to table.
• Remove used tableware between courses and provide tableware for the next course.
• Clear tables after guests. Take tableware to the dish room and place silverware, dishes, glassware, etc. in appropriate areas for washing.
• Promptly clean table tops, chairs, and booths between seating. Check the floor and clean as required. Reset and arrange the tabletop.
• Respond appropriately to guest requests. Communicate guest requests to the server as needed.
• Communicate with the server and hostess to assure efficient seating, table utilization, and customer service.
• Assist server as needed with food delivery especially with large parties and during peak periods.
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.
• Prepare soups, bread, and butter for the servers during busy operational periods
• Assist during peak business periods and be available to cover sick shifts and meal periods.
• Report any maintenance issues for all relevant operating equipment
• Improve problem areas and assist in implementing corrective measures.
• Must conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times

Dishwasher : Dishwasher responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
– Maintaining kitchen work areas.
– Washing dishes and utensils.
– Sweeping and mopping floors.
– Emptying garbage.
– Monitoring proper chemical levels in dishwasher
– Setting and cleaning tables, chairs, and other areas of the restaurant and bathroom.

Host/Hostess : The F&B Host/Hostess is the primary role that executes the day-to-day operations of the Food and Beverage Outlet. They are accountable for delivering a consistent guest experience in all Food and Beverage outlets.

The primary role of the F&B Host/Hostess is to execute the comprehensive food and beverage dining experience for the resort. This individual will perform a variety of activities to ensure a consistent and excellent experience for the guests. Duties may include, but are not limited to:
• Drive high levels of guest satisfaction through the consistent execution of all brand standards and hands-on interaction with guests and associates.
• Lead special projects as developed and approved.
• Assure that opening checklist is completed and that the restaurant is prepared for opening.
• Review reservations, establish a floor chart for smooth seating, and assign server sections.
• Attend Pre-Shift meeting for training standards, event updates, and food and beverage specials.
• Observe customers as they enter the restaurant and assure they are greeted promptly and properly and seated in a friendly manner.
• Monitor and observe guests dining experience. Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests or problems.
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the restaurant.
• Take beverage and food orders from guests and servers.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with the restaurant’s standard drink receipts.
• Assure that closing checklist is completed and that the restaurant is prepared for closing.
• Assist during peak business periods and be available to cover sick shifts and meal periods.
• Report any maintenance issues for all relevant operating equipment
• Improve problem areas and assist in implementing corrective measures.
• Must conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times.
• Must have a strong desire to lean new systems of operation, and be able to think critically in order to suggest improvements where appropriate
• Must desire to fully engage in the workplace
• Embody core principals of hospitality in order to take part in providing truly memorable experiences for guests.
• Must be willing to work hard to promote a positive, and rewarding working experience for all Mission Point Associates.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

Housekeeping : Housekeeping duties include, but are not limited to: picking up after a guest, cleaning guest bathrooms including showers, sinks, and toilets, making beds, removing guest linens, dusting furniture and fixtures, washing floors, vacuuming carpeted areas, emptying trash cans, cleaning windows, keeping the guest rooms stocked with accessories and the bathrooms stocked with supplies, and doing some laundry. Cleaning of closets, hallways and common areas will be required as well. Housekeeping must communicate with the supervisor and manager for any maintenance issues.

Recreation Attendant : The Recreation Attendant interacts with resort guests every day through the following: helps rent bikes and golf equipment to guests, keeps inventory, cleans equipment, runs transactions through the point of sale system, helps with Kids Club activities, and assists with guest activities.

**Participants will share dormitory-style rooms with communal bathrooms and showers. Rooms include bed linens, pillows, a light blanket, twin-size beds, a lamp, and small dressers. Vending machines and a microwave are available in the common areas, as well as coin-operated laundry facilities. Total housing cost includes 3 meals per day in the Employee Dining Room, as well as all utilities including electricity, water, cable TV, and wireless internet. This cost is deducted from the bi-weekly paycheck.
