Job Description

Front Desk & General Hotel Worker : Participants hired in this position will spend a majority of their time working at the front desk of the hotel. They will be responsible for registering and assigning rooms to guests, issuing room keys, transmitting and receiving messages, keeping records of occupied rooms and guests’ accounts, making and confirming reservations, presenting statements, and collecting payments from departing guests. Employees must provide excellent customer service to guests.

Participants will also spend some time working in housekeeping and working as a breakfast attendant. Housekeeping duties include cleaning guest bathrooms, making beds, removing guest linens, vacuuming, and cleaning showers, sinks, and toilets. Cleaning of common areas will be required as well. Breakfast attendant duties include setting up breakfast stations, replenishing food, cleaning tables, and cleaning the dining and buffet areas. This position requires standing, bending, and lifting.

Housekeeping and Breakfast Attendant : Participants hired in this position will be asked to work in both housekeeping and as a breakfast attendant. Housekeeping duties include, but are not limited to, cleaning guest bathrooms, showers, sinks, and beds, making beds, removing guest linens, and vacuuming. Cleaning of common areas will be required as well.

Breakfast attendant duties include, but are not limited to, setting up breakfast stations, replenishing food, and cleaning tables, dining area, and buffet area. This position requires standing, bending, and lifting.

** Employer has three different apartments where participants may live. Two are located on-site at Teton West Motel, and each have 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Each bedroom will have a set of bunk beds and will accommodate 2 participants. There will be up to 6 people living in each apartment. Bedrooms will be gender specific, but males and females may share the common areas. The 3rd apartment is located less than one mile down the road at the Super 8 hotel. This apartment has 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom and there will be up to 3 participants in the bedroom and sharing the apartment. All apartments have full kitchen and common areas, and utility and internet costs are included in the price of rent. Coin-operated laundry is available on-site at both locations. Housing is located in a rural area with limited nightlife.

Transportation to work

Students can walk or ride a bike.
