Job Description

Housekeeping : Housekeeping duties include, but are not limited to, picking up after guests, cleaning guest bathrooms, making beds, removing guest linens, dusting furniture and fixtures, washing floors, vacuuming carpeted areas, emptying trash cans, cleaning windows, cleaning showers, sinks, and toilets, keeping the guest rooms stocked with accessories and the bathrooms stocked with supplies, and doing some laundry. Some cleaning of common areas will be required as well. Housekeeping requires participants to use cleaning chemicals. General cleaning and other duties will be assigned by supervisor as necessary. Position requires following specific instructions on service, as well as a lot of physical activity including heavy lifting, bending, standing for long periods and walking up and down stairs.

**Participant will share a hotel room with other J1 participants. Participant will have access to a shared common living/TV area and full kitchen. Utilities and internet are included in the cost of rent.

Transportation to work

Students can walk or ride a bike.
