Dining Room Attendant/Waitstaff : Participants are responsible for assisting servers and bussers. Duties include, but are not limited to, refilling waters, setting tables, bussing tables, and replenishing linens, glassware, silverware, and dishes. Participants will take orders, serve food, and generally assist dining room and kitchen staff. General cleaning and other duties may be assigned by supervisor. This position requires standing for long periods of time.
Groundskeeping : Primary duties include physical labor such as trash collection and disposal, lawn maintenance, window washing, and some garden work on a team with American staff. Tasks vary depending on the day and weather. This position requires working outdoors for extended periods of time. General cleaning and other duties may be assigned by supervisor as necessary.
Housekeeping : This position requires cleaning guest rooms and public areas of the hotel. Duties include, but are not limited to, cleaning guest bathrooms, making beds, removing guest linens, doing laundry, taking out trash, vacuuming, and cleaning floors, showers, sinks, and toilets. This position requires following specific instructions on service, as well as a lot of physical activity including standing for long periods of time, heavy lifting, bending, kneeling, and walking up and down stairs. Housekeeping requires participants to use cleaning chemicals. General cleaning and other duties may be assigned by the employer as necessary.
Kitchen Assistant : Duties include, but are not limited to, washing and reshelving dishware and glassware, emptying garbage, sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down food service tables, cleaning appliances, chopping vegetables, and assisting the cook. The kitchen area at times may have high humidity and temperatures. Previous experience in a kitchen is preferred but not required. Participants must follow all food and health codes. General cleaning and other duties may be assigned by supervisor as needed.
Retail : Retail position duties include, but are not limited to, making coffee, milk shakes, and smoothies and cleaning the front seating area and employee section. Duties also include keeping workspace clean, emptying trash from all areas, managing merchandising and inventory, and handling customer purchases and cash. General cleaning and other duties may be assigned by the employer as necessary. This position requires following specific instructions on service, as well as a lot of physical activity such as standing for long periods of time.

Participant will not be charged for housing. Prepared group meals will be provided for participants when available. When group meals are not available, participant has access to shared cooking facility. May, August, and September housing: Participant will have a private bedroom in dormitory style housing in on-site co-ed dorms. 2 large community bathrooms are provided for each gender. Lobby is equipped with cable TV, computers, Wi-Fi, full kitchen, and outside garden and campfire. Furnishings and linens are provided. Participant will be required to change housing once high-season begins. June and July housing: Participant will have a private bedroom in dormitory style housing in on-site co-ed dorms. Each room has a private full bathroom. No air conditioning is available. Lobby is equipped with cable TV and Wi-Fi. Shared dining room and full kitchen are available for participant use.
